(1) The scripture is a point of reference to understand obligations and the religion towards human beings and God. God clarifies the purpose of creation and reveals Himself.

(2) In regards to this, ‘differences and disagreements between its own followers in issues of practice or in matter of belief and practice could be depended.

(3) The scriptures are supposed to maintain the faith safe from corrosion and corruption, at least after the prophet’s departure. The Quran revealed to our Prophet Muhammad, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him is the scripture to stay safe.

(4) It’s God’s evidence against human beings. Overstep or they’re not permitted to oppose it.

A Muslim believes that divinely revealed the Compassionate God revealed books to guide humankind. The Quran isn’t the Word of God, but God talked before Prophet Muhammad to prophets.

…and to Moses God spoke directly.” (Quran 4:164)

God describes believers are those

…believe in what has been sent down to you (Muhammad) and what has been sent down before you…” (Quran 2:4)

The most essential and fundamental concept of all scriptures would be to worship God and God alone.

And we sent never a prophet before you except that we revealed to him, saying, ‘there is no God but I, so worship Me.’” (Quran 21:25)

Islam is inclusive from the revelations it supports than any heavenly faith in its current form.

Uphold and honor the scriptures:

(i) The Quran is shown to the Prophet Muhammad.

(ii) The Torah (Tawrah in Arabic) shown to the Prophet Musa (distinct from the Old Testament read now).

(iii) The Gospel (Injeel in Arabic) revealed to Prophet Isa (distinct from the New Testament read in churches now).

(iv) The Psalms (Zaboor in Arabic) of Dawud.

(v) The Scrolls (Suhuf in Arabic) of Musa and Ibrahim.

Muslims think whatever is accurate in these and has been altered deliberately misconstrued.

Islam affirms that the Quran was revealed by God as a witness of these within affirmation and the scriptures because He says

And We have sent down to you (O Muhammad) the Book (the Quran) in truth, confirming the scripture that came before it and trustworthy in highness and a witness over it (the collection of old scriptures)…” (Quran 5:48)

Considering that the Quran confirms whatever reject whatever changes and alterations hands and is true in respects have left.
